A deep-sea world of whales, rays and hidden life beneath the surface.
Named after the ancient Greek spirit of the sea, Thalassa is a one-of-a-kind original painting inspired by the mystery, movement and quiet power of the ocean.
Within its layered blues, purples and golds, hidden marine life slowly emerges through the texture — whales, rays and shadowed creatures appearing as though surfacing from another world. Some forms reveal themselves immediately, while others wait beneath the movement of the paint, inviting closer inspection over time.
Painted in acrylic and mixed media on canvas, this original artwork is finished with hand-applied gold detailing, adding a subtle gilded quality that catches the light like sun on water.
Signed by Eri Bloom and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, Thalassa is hand varnished and carefully packaged by the artist before delivery.
This original painting is one-of-one and will not be recreated. Once collected, it will never exist in quite the same way again.

When will I get my order?
Each original is varnished to order before it leaves Eri’s studio. Once purchased, the painting will receive at least two hand-applied layers of protective varnish, with each layer requiring a minimum of 48 hours to dry and cure.
The artwork is then carefully checked and packed for its journey. Please allow at least three weeks before dispatch. You’ll receive tracking details as soon as your painting is on its way.
If you need the painting by a particular date, please get in touch as soon as possible before ordering. I’ll always do my best to help, but expedited dispatch cannot be guaranteed because the varnish must be allowed to dry and cure fully.
